How Does Shashwat Study Work?
Shashwat Study is an app-based online course designed for the holistic development of children. Each day, it provides age-appropriate stories and activities to nurture the five koshas (layers of well-being) of a child.
Rooted in ancient Vedic wisdom, the program offers modernized activities such as:
- Indoor & outdoor activities
- Sensory learning
- Mindfulness exercises
- Cultural activities
- Motor skill development
- Time management
- Virtue & character building
- Art & craft
- Yoga
- Family bonding activities
- And many more
Through these engaging experiences, Shashwat Study supports well-rounded growth in a fun and meaningful way.
-
How do I download and access the Shashwat Study app?
You can download the app from the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS). After installation, log in using your registered mobile number and child details to access the course. -
What age group is Shashwat Study designed for?
Shashwat Study is currently tailored for children aged 3 to 7 years, with age-appropriate stories, activities, and skill-building exercises for different developmental stages. We will soon launch the course for other age groups. -
Do I need any prior knowledge of Vedic wisdom to use this course?
No prior knowledge is needed! The course simplifies ancient teachings into engaging, modern activities that any parent or child can easily follow. -
Are the activities religious or culture-specific?
While rooted in Vedic principles, the program focuses on universal values (kindness, discipline, creativity) and holistic growth—suitable for families of all backgrounds. -
How much screen time is involved?
Minimal! The app guides daily activities, but most exercises involve offline engagement (crafts, storytelling, yoga) to reduce screen dependency. -
Is there scientific backing for this approach?
Yes! The five koshas model aligns with modern child psychology (emotional, social, cognitive growth), and activities boost skills like focus, motor development, and empathy. -
Can grandparents or caregivers participate?
Definitely! Many activities (storytelling, bonding exercises) are perfect for family involvement, making it a shared experience. -
How is progress tracked?
Currently the app does not include any progress tracker. The app includes simple check-ins and reflections (no tests!). Parents observe growth in habits, creativity, and emotional awareness over time. But we will soon launch progress tracker with complete child profile. -
What if my child doesn’t enjoy certain activities?
The course offers diverse options (sensory play, arts, and outdoor games). Skip or adapt activities based on your child’s interests—the goal is joyful learning! -
What if I want to skip activity or story any day?
App provides the option to skip the activity or story. You can revisit the missed tasks later. -
What if I miss a day?
No stress! The program is self-paced. Revisit missed activities later or focus on what resonates most with your child. -
Is this course an alternative to regular schooling?
No, Shashwat Study is not a replacement for formal schooling. Instead, it is a supplementary program designed to support your child’s holistic growth alongside their academic education.
While schools focus on core subjects like math, science, and language, Shashwat Study nurtures life skills, emotional well-being, creativity, and values through stories, activities, and mindfulness practices—complementing traditional learning with Vedic wisdom for modern life.
Think of it as enrichment that helps children thrive in all aspects of life, not just academics.
-
What is the minimum time required everyday by parents?
Shashwat Study is designed for easy integration into busy schedules. Parents are encouraged to spend just 15-20 minutes per day actively engaging with their child in the program's activities.
Key Details:
- Flexible Structure: Activities can be adapted to your routine—done together or guided by you for independent play.
